A Tour of the Cabin


Well, we are starting to get settled in.  The cabin was built in the 1930's and has a couple additions built on to the original structure so it is a bit "quirky" but is charming & quite functional. 

There are 4 bedrooms and 3 baths plus a laundry & storage room and a big entry porch.    Here is the view ...
They turned the sun on for us yesterday... Today is a more typical cloudy rainy day and the fog is covering the snow capped mountains, just the lower, tree covered hills are visible today.   

We also have some new roommates, apparently there are a lot of little critters that in live in the woods & would prefer to live in a cabin, so meet Leo & Oreo, our "mouse patrol" 
Just wanted to add my fun picture from yesterday...I finished up the socks I had been knitting cross country while on the ferry... This is a rock out in the bay, at low tide....no sandy beach here, rocks & glacial silt, but the water is absolutely crystal clear...so awesome !

    Seeing your pics makes me want to move right in! A quirky, cozy cabin with cats and a view...looks like HOME to me! :)

    I love it! I know you're going to have the time of your lives! Can't wait to see what you do with the cabin....and look forward to seeing more pictures of the view up there. Your furry friends are beauties and lucky to have hooked up with you! ENJOY!!
